Structure and Navigation

Correct Usage of Links

A link must not lead to the same section we are in. Selected link must be inactive. There must be a difference between visited and not visited links (as described in these guidelines). Logotype must not have a link on the first page. All links must be opened in the same window, even the links that lead to other websites (except fot links to pdf or other equal files).

There are 3 basic ways to navigate through Parex banka's website:

Main navigation

Main navigation consists of two sections. The beyond section is the most important and must include only links that are related to the bank's services and products or clients to whom the bank is selling its products or services (in this example these are private and corporate clients). In the above section are the links that are not product or service related: in our case there must always be the following sections: "About bank", "Press Room", "Sponsorship" (optional), "Career" and "Contact Information".

Second Level Navigation

The less levels there are the better. When a section is selected other sections disappear. Only actual section is visible.

Related Links

This section is always on the right and is used only to provide a link to sections that are related to the section we are in at the moment. Other information is deprecated here. It is also not allowed to put different files like pdf's here.
